After coffee and a pastry relaxing in Plaza San Fernando, we visited the Mercado Hidalgo and had lunch near by at a taqueria. Then we visited the local history museum, Museo Alhondiga de Granaditas, where we learned about the early civilizations of the area and the revolution and fight for Mexican independence

Guanajuato for 2 more days, then to San Miguel de Allende. This is where the Mexican War for independence started on 1810. Much history!
